Achieving Change Together
Pepsi ACT is an initiative that provides disability inclusion training to managers and creates opportunities to successfully attract, hire and retain talent with disabilities.
Pepsi ACT - Achieving Change Together, is a partnership with non-profit Disability Solutions @Ability Beyond, to enhance the recruiting, sourcing, hiring, training and advancement of people with disabilities, including veterans with disabilities, throughout their U.S. beverage business.
Pepsi ACT has provided training to over 900 managers and supervisors to improve interviewing, supervising and retaining talented individuals with disabilities, including veterans with disabilities. Further, the community impact efforts have reached 2,600+ jobseekers with disabilities who have been hired across the U.S. in addition to others receiving skills training to prepare for interviews and increase their job readiness.
The program has been recognized both locally and nationally as best in practice and PepsiCo was awarded by the Department of Labor for Excellence in Disability Inclusion. In 2020, the initiative expanded to Frito Lay expanding on the success of the ACT brand.
